Shell
The shell of the imperial skate is made of composite material reinforced with 15% fiberglass to make the shell stiff and strong. T he base on the mounting block is big an wide, which provides a large contact area between the frame and the boot.

Boot
The cuff was designed with support in mind. It is made out of special composite compound that is super stiff thanks to the 15% fiberglass that was mixed into the material. Also, this skate is equipped with the MY FIT “Fat Boy” liner. This was created by Sergio McCargo, the #1 shoemaker in the inline world. The liner has the perfect shape and fit, it wraps around your foot like a sock. The liner is heat moldable and has a unique 3 layer padding consisting of heat moldable foams, EVA foam and addition 3D foam in the ankle area for a perfect ankle and heel lock to increase support. Under the lining is a soft sponge foam for extra comfort and support. On the outside, the padding is kept in shape with a special heat moldable thermo sheet. The liner is light and features a dual density innersole and a carrying strap. Powerslide offers different MY FIT liner which are ALL heat moldable.

Frame
The Powerslide Imperial One 80 is equipped with the Powerslide Spider frame which is made of 6061 aircraft aluminium and is based on a single voided construction. The frame is a simplified version of the famous FSK Spider Pro frame. The frame is very stiff and well-balanced. The Spider frame comes with 7075 aluminium single axles. The combination of the across slot in the frame and the along slot in the boots is called the X-Slot Mounting. This system enables you to adjust the boot-frame setup without any dead spots according to your skating style and preferences.

Wheels
Powerslide Spinner wheels are Super High Rebound (SHR) wheels that are fast roll, give a good grip, and have a long lifetime. The hub with the small dots is a very strong and durable construction.

Bearings
Wicked (WCD) is a new higb end bearing brand. It is made of the best avaliable raw materials and is crafted with high quality to gaurantee a fast and smooth ride but also have a long lifetime. WCD ABEC 7 Freespin bearings have a very good and smooth freespin. The ABEC 7 contain 7 chrome steel bearings and a light weight, but resistant, nylon cage. One side is coverred by a non contact rubber coated RZ shield. A synthetic oil form Japan is used for these bearings.
