The Bont BNT Inline Speed Skates are built around a lightweight carbon fiber boot for experienced skaters and professional racers. A LIGHTWEIGHT CARBON FIBER BASE

The boot has a 100% carbon fiber base with a matte finish and Bont's epoxy thermoset resin. The fully heat-moldable base allows fit adjustment, while the minimalist design keeps weight low by leaving out bumpers, thermoplastics, and zippers.

DUROLITE OUTER SKIN AND A CLOSE-FITTING INTERIOR

The Durolite outer skin uses the same material found in Bont's high-end Vaypor skates. Inside, the Suede-L liner is comfortable with or without socks. Thin, firm 2mm neoprene padding uses closed-cell foam that does not absorb water, helping the boot stay light.

The snug heel and minimal padding suit skaters who value a highly responsive racing fit. Consider this firm feel carefully if you prefer a heavily padded skate.

A SECURE, VENTILATED TONGUE

The ventilated tongue helps keep the foot cool, while Velcro holds it in position. Tongue padding helps prevent lace bite, and waxed laces with minimal stretch help maintain consistent tension.

DURABLE MOUNTING HARDWARE

Aluminum mounting blocks contain hardened steel nuts for reliable frame attachment. Bont reports that it has never had a skate returned because of mounting block issues. Loctite-treated mounting screws help prevent loosening during races
