Who is Chuck Parsley?

Once upon a time, there was a young man named Steve. This young man didn’t just have a big imagination, he had a vision, a drive to be the best. Steve not only loved spending every day at the skating rink in Albany, Georgia (Stardust Skating Rink), but he also loved to write. After hours when the rink would close, he would listen to music and dream of making it.

Well, by age 15, Steve taught himself how to record, edit, and produce his own music. By age 27, he had multiple record deals and released 4 albums under the artist’s name “Cantrell”. Yup, that is right, Steve used his real last name as his artist title.

Steve’s path is amazing and unique because as his music career took off, so did his skating career. Before he knew it, he was skating with Team Vanilla and spent a great amount of time with Tony Zane, Diamond, and Brandon. The hard work paid off…last year at Summer Jam 2023, Steve was named the NATIONAL CHAMPION of the  NATIONAL JAM SKATING LEAGUE!

So here we are, 4th paragraph in and you still don’t know who Chuck Parsley is…or do you?

As Steve’s popularity grew, his friends realized he needed a nickname like any self respecting performing artist. Without asking for it, his buddies started calling him “Chuck Parsley”. And here we are today, naming a skate after Steve, but with a twist. Sounds silly when you think about it, but in the end, as Mr. Parsley’s music and skating teach us, it’s about having fun and the stories we create together. This skate is for you Mr. Chuck Parsley!
