The John Wilson Pattern 99 Parabolic is designed to give quicker cuts that dramatically improves footwork and control.
The John Wilson pattern 99 Parabolic features a solid Sole Plate for increased rigidity and has the Parabolic Tapered Hollow Ground or Side Honed.

The Parabolic blade shape on the Pattern 99, allows exceptional edges & lightning fast take offs and is unmatched for performance on the Ice.
The groundbreaking Parabolic design centers the skater’s weight on the blade for exceptional footwork and control.
The Parabolic Tapered Hollow Ground is for Advanced Blades where the blade is thicker at the rake of the blade and is thinned consistently down the length of the blade to the tail. Tapering of the blade results in reduced blade resistance when skating in a forward direction.
These Blades are also side Hollow Ground, which is the removal of steel at the factory to reduce blade weight but more importantly provide more defined edges and increased Angle to the Ice for tighter turns.

The Rake is Straight Cut which is a single directional milling process and provides for increased transformation of forward momentum into elevation.
The more dominate the Toe Pick, the greater the potential for Jumping Elevation.
